Film Graphic Portfolio Project

The design for a fake comedy club was created for my United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829, IATSE, union computer artist application. The project simulates real film graphics work which included providing notes on print production, placement, and aging.

I aimed to create a distinctive identity that scales across formats and feels like it could have evolved from a pre-digital origin. I then extended the system into show posters inspired by real venues, balancing varied comedic styles with strong typography, clear hierarchy, and increased type scale for legibility and impact. The supporting elements include a minimal digital ticket, more text‑heavy printed ticket, a branded T‑shirt, and street-level graphics like a festival banner and informal flyer to build a layered, lived‑in world around the club.
